Department of Structural Design

Department of Structural Design is the successor of the Structural Engineering Laboratories of Tallinn Technical Institute, established in 1936.

At present the Department of Structural Design consists of 2 chairs and a laboratory:

Chair of Structural Engineering
Chair of Building Physics and Architecture
Laboratory of Structures

Department of Structural Design coordinates studies of the specialization of Construction engineering. The nominal time of integrated bachelor and master studies for engineers is 5 years. After that graduates can proceed to doctoral studies, which nominally takes 4 years.
