Institute of Clinical Medicine |
ICM was established as part of the Technomedicum of Tallinn University of Technology in 2007. The Institute operates as a science-, study- and development establishment in the medicine sphere.
Clinical medicine is an area that builds a competence bridge between biomedicine and the clinical manifestation of diseases. Our institute adds the missing expertise to the development of the preferential areas in TUT (such as chemistry- and biotechnology, biomedicine), filling the so far missing link in the “Program for scientific-and developmental actions in chemistry, biotechnology and biomedicine for the period of 2005-2015” (TUT, 2005).
Scientific Advisory Board
SAB’s mission is to support and reinforce the scientific activity of the institute by regularly evaluating the development and achievements of scientific programs, formulating suggestions to strengthen the scientific competence of the institute and providing international expert opinion to scientific activities, developments and new programs. The Board consists of at least 3 but no more than 9 scientists from Estonia and abroad, representing various scientific directions of the institute
Institute Council
The council consists of Ruth Sepper, Riin Ehin, Priit Kogerman, Peeter Ross, Erkki Truve, Vahur Valvere and Andres Veske.
