TTÜ lost to Pärnu VK 2:3

Daugavpils Universitate, Pärnu VK, Tallinna Selver and Pere Leib won their games on Sunday int Schenker volleyball league. The most interesting game was betwine Pärnu VK and TTÜ teams.

Pärnu VK Starting lineup: Jaanus Nõmmsalu, Andrus Raadik,  Aivar Silm, Karel Merisaar, Tamar Nassar, Agris Leitis, libero Austris Stals.

TTÜ Starting lineup: Kusti Nõlvak, Andris Õunpuu, Janis Sirelpuu, Mart Tiisaar, Kristjan Jürima, Vaido Veek, libero Sten Esna.

TTÜ started the game with very accurate servs. The main target  was Jaanus Nõmmsalu. Pärnu did not get much points with attack. On the other hand everything was working on the other side of the net. Almost everybody scored on the TTÜ side. First set went to TTÜ 25-17.

The second set started with TTÜ preponderance . TTÜ managed to get some easy points and lead the set until the end. Second set also went to TTÜ 25-17.

In the third set TTÜ lead by three points until the first technical time-out. After the time out Pärnu managed to get 6 easy points end get a three points lead over TTÜ. The Third set ended with Pärnu winning the set 25-21. Same thing hapend ind the fourth set aswell 25-20. Fifth set was very interesting but unfortunately TTÜ lost the set and the game 15-13.

Best players form Pärnu side were Aivar Silm with 22 points, Andrus Raadik and Elia Lulla with 14 points.

Best players from TTÜ side were Mart Tiisaar and Andris Õunpuu with 19 points.
